They all stood there staring

as the juggernaut god built the final tower.

The tower scraped against the sky

as a golden dagger amidst a concrete world.

There above me was a woman

with a face full of rot and shadow.

I beckoned her closer

with my sharpest black talon.

She grinned and floated towards me,

bare breasts weightlessly shifting,

I waited there smiling

as the pair of white wings

unfolded to reveal

a glowing newborn

with vision fed

by an infinite abyss

separated into two sinister openings

that devoured all blessings.
